Doll Stands - model 2, tutorial

These are "Hardware Store Doll Stands"

That round thing is a "5-inch Flat Cover Plate" - It was in the plumbing department in the aisle with sewer pipes and stuff. This one is white, and they also had brushed aluminum. It was $2.29US before taxes.

That threaded thing is a "3/8-inch threaded rod" - it was in with the screws and things.

Then there's a piece of ribbon and a volunteer naked Kid.

Thread the rod into the cover plate.

Tie the ribbon around the Kid and the threaded rod at about the level of the armpits and so that the toes just touch the cover plate.

I'm planning on wrapping the threaded rod with ribbon so that the metal doesn't touch the Kid, and probably not use bright red ribbon under her clothing....
