Tater-Tot (tm)
Something in this particular batch of vinyl darkened with age, or possibly heat or some other environmental factor. In the worst cases, it looks like an AA head was planted on a white body. This child just looks like she's been skiing without her sunscreen.
Motion-Sickness
It's not really obvious in this photo, but the skin tone has a greenish tinge that doesn't match the body. Something in the formula for this batch of vinyl didn't age well.
Bark Beetle Pox
Y'know how some evergreen trees have lighter places where the beetles have burrowed? Or if you ever had one of those ant farms where you could watch them tunnel? That's what this poor Kid's head looks like.
There are other issues with this head, but the picture is to show the tunneling effect.
Measles
This one almost looks like a heat rash or fine measles. The vinyl is not all the same even color, but it's evenly "rashed" all over the head. Note that the inside of the head is not sticky like it is with traditional cabbage pox.
Multi-Pox
The body is bright orange "neon", and it looks like there are patches of the neon orange on the head. I've never heard of color in the body of the Kid migrating to the vinyl in the head, but that's what it looks like.
In addition, the poor Kid has a mottled effect where the vinyl is not all the same even color.
On top of that, he has gray splotches all over his head that look like traditional cabbage pox.
