ROAD TRIP: California to Texas and Back Again
Jenny is in Commerce, TX going to school. Dave helped her drive out there, with all of her stuff, last August, and it was my turn to help her drive back to California. Carolina got to go along. This is our story.
Carolina: I have to ride ~HERE~?

She much prefers riding with the computer...but I wouldn't let her ride there IN the plane.

Amy's place in Garland, TX, and Carolina playing with the remote control to the enormous television:

Then Jenny picked us up for the drive to Commerce:

Not ~THIS~ pile! It's going to the storage shed!

This is the pile that's going with us...except it kept growing.

In the car, on top of all the stuff:

Side view of very full car...there's a bike on the trunk, too.

Clean dorm room bedroom:

Clean dorm room living room:

Cadillac Ranch in the gooey, gooey, gooey mud:

Midpoint of the old Route 66 - Adrian, TX:

Carolina's foot is much smaller than a dinosaur's:

Stromatolites - fossilized algae:

GIANT footprint!

This is a life-sized leg of a dinosaur, but we don't remember what kind. Whatever it is, it's HUGE!

Carson Taylor is riding horses in Texas, Carolina is riding dinosaurs in New Mexico!

Riding a triceratops:

And safe in the mouth of a T. Rex!

Later, I'll upload the mementos of the Rattlesnake Museum in Albuequerque.
Glen Canyon Dam Visitor Center:

Glen Canyon Dam from inside the visitor's center:

Last hotel, tomorrow night in Ridgecrest!
