This is Caitlyn. She's a "Charley, Camp Counselor" softie, and she goes on trips with my Girl Scouts.
This is Caitlyn in front of the cookies that Junior 210 and C/S/A 513 sold during 2009. This is ~after~ the girls picked up their pre-orders. These are the cookies that we'll sell at cookie booths and that the girls will continue to sell individually.
Those cellophane-y things are "birthday bags." We're celebrating 98 years of Girl Scouting in the United States next month and my girls decided to put together birthday-party-in-a-bag for the local food pantry. The things in each bag are not things usually donated to a food pantry, which makes it more fun. Each bag has a cake mix, a can of frosting, plates, napkins, forks, candles, and candy sprinkles, and five "other" things picked out for a specific age and gender. The girls had a blast! Better yet, DollarTree is still standing!
Then I found Corrigan, another "Charley, Camp Counselor" softie. Now the plan is to put Caitlyn and her Girl Scout scrapbook up for raffle at an adult event, and let Corrigan travel with my Girl Scouts.
So I asked the girls to put the meeting stuff back in my car after the meeting, and this is what they did. Silly Girl Scouts! The gate guard giggled at me.
