Customer sent this:
The request was for a "traditional tan" in single pony.
--> On the left, a traditional tan pony, complete with fuzzies not yet trimmed.
--> On the right, the candidate yarn. By the way, it's really hard to find modern yarn to match the thirty-year old yarn on vintage Kids!
--> On the bottom, the candidate Kid.
Oh, dear! Once the hair was removed from the skull, it was obvious that this had been a reroot and, well, I'm not sure how the hair was staying in the head, but this was not going to be a happy story!
Fortunately, there was a Kid in Human Resources just waiting for a turn to shine!

Super-long pony - customer can trim to appropriate length:
