Restoring Tracy 4 - Comparing Old and New Hair
The yarn used for Tracy's hair, I feel safe in saying, is no longer manufactured. It might be possible to find something closer than what I found, but I'm happy with this:
It's obviously not a match.
Not even really close. The original yarn is not a yellow, and not a brown; the mustard colors at my local store were much too yellow, and the browns were much too brown. The rusts were too deep, the tans were too pale.
But look how the newer, gingery yarn brings out the green of her eyes!
